How metadata viewer works
A metadata viewer helps you understand which information is stored inside a file. Select a supported file, choose View metadata and inspect the report. Image reports show parsed supported fields and removable container blocks; PDF reports show document properties; Office reports show property XML. A report is not a forensic scan of every possible hidden field.
Good to know
An empty report means no supported fields were found. It is not proof that a file contains no hidden information.
Three simple steps
