Your files stay on your device

Our metadata tools read and process selected files in your browser. We do not upload your files or metadata to our servers. We do not keep a copy of your selected or edited files.

Website requests

Our hosting provider processes ordinary connection data, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time, to deliver and secure the website. This is separate from your file contents. The site does not currently use advertising, analytics cookies or accounts.

Local memory and downloads

Your selected files remain in browser memory while the page is open. Clear the file queue or close the page when finished. Downloaded files are stored by your browser on your device and remain under your control.

Third-party processing

File processing libraries are bundled with the website. File contents are not sent to a third-party API. External links follow the destination website’s policies.
